Inexhaustible Editions triple review on Vital Weekly

“Slovenian label Inexhaustible Editions is rapidly growing into a powerhouse for more radical forms of improvised music. Here they present three new releases to proof their extremity.” – Vital Weekly, the oldest online source for music reviews discusses Santiago Astaburuaga’s La Perpetuidad Del Esbozo #3, Birgit Ulher and Christoph Schiller’s Tulpe Schicht Brille, and Jason Mears and Stephen Flinn’s Irreversible Motions.

New review of Put by Markus Krispel, Matija Schellander and Szilveszter Miklós on Avant Scena

“All three musicians like to make inventive and creative musical decisions, put contrasting and absolutely different styles, chords, expressions and other elements of musical language. Their music is fresh, evocative and filled with bright and provocative moves, brave sound experiments and astonishing special effects.” – Avant Scena reflects on Krispel, Schellander and Miklós’ Put, released on Inexhaustible Editions’ sublabel Edition FriForma.

New duo release by Birgit Ulher and Christoph Schiller

Inexhaustible Editions is excited to announce a new duo release by trumpeter Birgit Ulher and spinet player Christoph Schiller with a mid-September street date – Tulpe Schicht Brille is the follow-up to the duo’s debut album Kolk, released on Another Timbre in 2012.

Antoine Beuger’s To The Memory Of on Vital Weekly

“This is some very quiet music, with lots of space between the sparse notes, but not something one sticks on for relaxing. Meditation is perhaps something I could see even when some of the tones may come across ‘harsh’, especially the ones from objects. This is something that is best enjoyed when one keeps the full attention going and listens to this in total silence and uninterrupted. Only then, I should think, the beauty of this becomes clear” – Frans de Waard about Antoine Beuger’s To The Memory Of on Vital Weekly issue 1119.

After some time, they started to work together as a duo: their debut album, Wolkokrot was released by Inexhaustible Editions in August 2015. Wolkokrot was a home studio work based on sound files exchanging, using various electronics, sound samples and field recordings as blurred reflections of memories. As a live unit, García and Belorukov are playing in improvised context, and working with sounds of a saxophone, objects and various electronic devices. The première tour of this duo will happen in December 2016 in Switzerland and France.

Gapplegate Music Review discusses Bakers Of The Lost Future

“There is over-the-top music and then there is music that is over the top of that. I Belong To The Band and their Bakers Of The Lost Future belongs to the second tier of outness. It is a collective snort into deep space. I mean the snoring snort. The deep dream snort.”
